To support our continued growth, we’re looking for an A-to-Y Accountant who enjoys variety, responsibility, and tangible impact. Someone who likes working alongside CFOs and finance consultants and loves making a real difference for clients who typically move a bit faster than the rest of the market.
What you’ll do (and why it’s different here)
You support clients across their financial processes from A to Y – without the formal ITAA title, but with the freedom, autonomy, and variety you won’t find elsewhere. No dusty files: instead you’ll work with scale-ups, innovative business models, and companies that embrace change. Your responsibilities may include:
- Handling the full day-to-day accounting for multiple clients, from purchase entries to the balance sheet.
- Preparing monthly and yearly closings so our CFOs can move quickly.
- Creating interim figures, annual accounts, and modern management reports.
- Monitoring invoicing, payments, and expense processing with a critical eye.
- Following up on VAT returns, corporate tax filings, and other fiscal obligations.
- Preparing forecasts and cash planning – one of the most crucial pillars for high-growth companies.
- Supporting clients during audits, both internal and external.
- Making financial processes smarter, faster, and more digital.
- Managing your own portfolio of clients and acting as their first sparring partner for anything related to accounting and financial flow.
Here, you’re not “working in the back office.” You move in sync with entrepreneurs.
Who we’re looking for
- An accountant with 3–5 years of experience and the ambition to keep growing.
- Fluent in Dutch and comfortable in English.
- Confident with digital tools: you master MS Office and quickly learn new accounting systems.
- Strong analytical skills; structured and precise – yet not rigid.
- Someone who takes initiative, embraces ownership, and likes to get things done.
- Flexible, quick to adapt, and able to maintain oversight.
- Discreet with confidential information.
- Above all: eager to learn and excited about a work environment where progress is part of daily life.
